1st of all: Naught nigh Jamie is funny in the least. I institute some of the first-graders recycled dad jokes to exist more than funny than anything Jamie had. It got pretty pathetic afterwards a while.
2nd: I'm not certain if James Patterson has whatsoever idea what modern-mean solar day bullying looks similar. The whole wedgie/swirly matter is and so damn stereotypical centre-school bullying, but every bit a center schooler, I have never seen/experienced
This volume was absolute garbage. I am nevertheless amazed at how many 5-star reviews this book has.1st of all: Nothing virtually Jamie is funny in the least. I found some of the first-graders recycled dad jokes to be more than funny than anything Jamie had. It got pretty pathetic later a while.
2nd: I'm not sure if James Patterson has whatsoever idea what modernistic-day bullying looks like. The whole wedgie/swirly affair is and then damn stereotypical centre-schoolhouse bullying, but as a middle schooler, I accept never seen/experienced annihilation like Patterson describes. Maybe it was like this 20-30 years ago, simply nowadays... no, no, no.
3rd: Middle schoolhouse romance? Delight. Don't fifty-fifty become me started on this bullcrap. Honestly, people going to each other's houses, and sending flirty back-and-along DM's on Instagram is well-nigh every bit romantic every bit y'all get in middle schoolhouse. All of this "bench virtually the beach at midnight, sharing feelings, and kissing" is merely his wistful thinking.
SUCKED.
EDIT: I call up that part of what triggered me then much about this book, is that it also has this underlying theme: "If y'all're famous, it'southward ok to be a full douche to your friends, and then apologize and expect your fame and the benefits that come with information technology to prepare everything."
"Apologies don't mean a thing, if you don't e'er fix it." - NF
"Deportment speak louder than words practise, information technology's pretty quiet, isn't it?" - NF
"Mistakes can brand you grow, that doesn't hateful your friends." - NF
James Patterson is a great writer to read. These books past him I read are great. I can't wait to read the adjacent book in his serial. I like near this book that Jamie is faced with many bug, but he somehow overcomes them just by beingness himself. I would recommend this volume to everyone of all age because this is very entertaining.

I thought that this book was very funny. The illustrations are very well drawn and made the book more interesting. I would recommend this to my friends in my class. I accept ordered more books from this series. My favourite function was when the school bully chosen Stevie Kosgrov meets a new great called Lars Johannsen from Minnesota who started the school.
What the bully Stevie Kosgrov has done to other people , Lars does the aforementioned things to Stevie and then makes Stevie realise what he has washed in the by and feels sorry for the people that he has bullied and becomes a nicer person.
...moreThe graphic symbol I like about in this book is Jamie, who is too the main character, because even though he has had many tragedies in his life, such as losing his ability to walk and his family unit, he still has a TON of humour in him that he shares with the world. This book makes me call up about how bullying is a real problem that needs to be taken care of. I think this because in I Funny TV, Jamie is picked on by 2 kids because he has disabilities. This kind of bullying happens in real life and needs to finish. When I read this book I feel similar at that place are many people in the world who have worked through major issues in their lives and done something great. A part of this book that I dislike is when Jamie messes upward in the practice session of this evidence. I don't like this function considering information technology makes it seem similar Jamie lost a lot of his talent. A question I have nearly this book is why did Jamie move in with his aunt and uncle instead of his other uncle who owns a diner. I enquire this because it seems like Jamie has a better human relationship with his other uncle. If I were Jamie when he was existence asked to do the show at offset, I would've agreed right away considering I would not want to lose the 1 million dollars I'd already spent. This was an ok book and I would recommend it to someone who is non that into reading and has lots of time on their easily.
This is an overall good book that I would recommend to anyone who likes to read one-act books. I Funny Television has many funny and many sorry moments, but too some irksome moments that made it lose a star.

Readers get to join Jamie through the experience, which is filled with the usual amount of humor. Information technology is non surprising since Jamie is the standup coming that has to sit downward ... at least, that is how he refers to himself because he is in a wheelchair later on having survived a tragic accident that took the lives of his parents and younger sis. That has not kept him from finding the lighter aspects of his life, and he continues to do that in this book. Nada that happens on the set of his show ends upwards causing him to surrender. A lot of that is due to his friends and family, but information technology really comes to the fact that he is a funny guy.
As with the other Middle School stories, bullying consistently is represented, and the books provide great advice how non to let bullies overwhelm you. It is a nice bulletin, and it is embedded in all the books in a mode that information technology doesn't come across cheesy or preachy. The book is definitely a fun read, but it really probably requires the reader to read that earlier I Funny books, but that is non a problem since they are all enjoyable.
...moreI really liked this book. The characters were realistic and the story was easy to follow. I am giving this book 4 stars because the only thing that I would have changed is adding more detail to the setting the characters were in.
...moreThis is a hilarious story. It is great for both younger and older people. I liked this volume, and you volition too.
When James Patterson wrote I Funny TV A Middle Schoolhouse Story I think he stepped out of his writing box because he had to imagine himself as a kid in this position. This book is told in the vision of a disabled teenage male child who won a comedy contest in New York making his style through life with bullies, new opportunities, and just teenage problems. The chief disharmonize in the story is when he gets selected for a tv show about himself, and he goes through this stage of uncertainty and stress to where they thin
When James Patterson wrote I Funny TV A Middle School Story I think he stepped out of his writing box considering he had to imagine himself every bit a kid in this position. This book is told in the vision of a disabled teenage boy who won a comedy competition in New York making his way through life with bullies, new opportunities, and simply teenage issues. The main conflict in the story is when he gets selected for a tv show about himself, and he goes through this stage of doubt and stress to where they think they should hire new people to play in his tv show. This requires Jamie to get the aid of celebrities, friends, and family to merely be himself. Based on the plot James Patterson wants to entertain the reader in this novel. The book mostly takes a comedic take on it, just it can get very real in the way his life goes on with bullies, school, and just a habitation life.
From my view on the book the theme was pretty easy to spot. I remember the theme is simply be yourself. At the starting time of the book Jamie loves his life and the fashion he can go out of annihilation with comedy, only towards the finish of the book the fame is kind of shaping him into something that he is not. A quote explains this by proverb: "Or take you lot completely forgotten your own lousy thought for an even lousier short moving picture?" (223). This quote happens when Jamie has to record tardily, and his ride is tardily. He forgets to go to his friends who were going to shoot a short film for school. At that moment Jamie knew that he did something very wrong, and almost lost a big role of his life.
The style that James Patterson used was a narrative. The readers follow the life of a teenage boy throughout the whole story going through the life of a regular teenage boy. A great quote to explain that this book is a narrative is when Jamie says: " So when he threatens to give me a wedgie, I say, you're actually skilful at giving wedgies, Stevie. Do you practise yanking up your own underwear at dwelling house? Is that why you always walk so weirdly?" (12). This quote shows how James Patterson put a comedic expect to a regular person's life. I recall that his style is very constructive. A quote that also explains that he is merely a person is: "The makeup lady powder-puffs my face up to blot abroad the flop sweat that just drizzled out of my hair." (167). This quote again shows how James Patterson really related to a real person instead of making Jamie Grimm a perfect human. James Patterson really uses a kind of younger historic period comedy, just when y'all detect a funny joke you just can't await to turn the page to find some other one. I experience like the reader is obligated to turn the page to find out what funny line is on the next page.
I liked I Funny Tv A Middle School Story. I feel similar on some parts the characters can be relatable, and it can exist a book to only choice up and simply become a good laugh. I was very skeptical about the sense of humor. I thought the humour would exist very dry and dull, but some jokes were very funny and entertaining to read. This book really made me think that not all comedy based books are going to be boring or just have dry comedy. If I could change the book in that location would be a couple of things. Get-go, I feel similar a couple times the book got so depressing for a little bit of fourth dimension. That some of the jokes that they put in the book weren't that funny. Another thing is that they had some side characters, but some didn't go into that much item. Finally, some characters later ane scene with them in it, we didn't even hear from them after that. I experience that if you're in the story you take to stay in the story for the whole book. That is what I thought of I Funny Tv set A Middle School Story. One of the funniest books I accept ever read.

Jamie won The Planet'southward Funniest Kid Comic and when you win that you lot become 1 million dollars and your ain TV show. Jamie wanted to brand a show for kids in Elementary school and he will host information technology in his Uncle Frankies diner. He doesn't think he is going to exist able to have his own evidence because whrre he lives it is a very small town. He gets somehting he wants!!
What i noticed about the illustrations are that what they say in the story they put pictures of information technology. I like that because i can really encounter the story in my head. An case is Jamie was trying to act cool and he tried to do a wheelie simply he savage right on his butt. I could come across that in my head because they showed three pictures of it happening. Information technology was also really funny.
The book is differnt so all the others books that James Patterson wrote because all of his other books Jamie would be going to a contest but in this book they were talkng about a TV show. In his terminal volume (book 3) Uncle Frankies diner got all messed up my a hurricane. In his first volume jamie thought he was not fix for the contest.

I also liked this book of how information technology had new characters coming upward and new characters ways new events. I loved how this book had really descriptive wording, made me experience similar I was in the book.
